This approval was based on data from the REACH-2 (NCT02435433) study, a double-blind, placebo-controlled, multinational trial conducted in 292 patients with advanced HCC and AFP levels ≥ 400 ng/mL who had experienced disease progression on or after sorafenib treatment or were intolerant to it.
